Vet Visit Day - 2nd Visit

Though none of the kittens particularly like "Vet Visit Day", their curiosity get's the better of them, especially when it is not them being poked!! :-)  Eleanor (Mom), kept a close eye on things and everyone came through the ordeal in good shape.  Not Shown:  Amelia and Helio were behind Dr. H. climbing her back-side in a show of "affection". :-)

A lot has been going on around here and time has just not been available to keep up with the pictures.  Many have been taken, but getting them processed and posted has not been done.  We are trying to do better.  As a first round, here are some shots of what they are like today.

Please note:  Lancer and Curtis are currently reserved.

Well... It has been a few weeks since we last took pictures.  Yes, it is about time!!  All are doing quite well - they wiggle, squirm, cry and carry on, but they greet us at their birthing cage each time we come in and are getting more and more active.  We've had to put the fence up around their area to keep them contained, once they leave the birthing cage, which they are starting to do any time we sit down to talk with and handle them.  All in all, they are a very cute bunch!!

Oh... and we have "determined" their sex this time around...  BUT, do not be too surprised if it changes, after their first vet visit. :-)  Luckilly, the patch tabby (#2) "has" to be a girl, so all are compared to her and if they are same, it's a girl, if different...well, that leaves it being a boy!! :-)!!

We're finally able to get some pictures.  Obviously, at this age (72 hrs), they are not much to look at, but it helps to give us an idea of "who" we are dealing with...Especially with this number of kittens.  As well as Eleanor is doing, supplementing has begun, but she is doing quite well, so it should only be an "additive" to what she is providing.

Enjoy!

Starting around 3:30 a.m., Eleanor gave birth to this round of kittens.  Mother and kittens appear to be doing well, but with this number of kittens, it is always a nervous time for us.  Pictures will be coming soon.
